MUNA is located at Calle Fuente Morales s/n, 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, right in the historic core of the city, close to Plaza de España.
By Car: the museum sits inside Santa Cruz's city centre, and the official recommendation is to park at Plaza de España, at the Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África, or along Calle Ramón y Cajal, all within a short walk. Coming from Tenerife North Airport (Los Rodeos), the drive into Santa Cruz is short, around 14 kilometres and roughly 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. From Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofía), it's a longer run up the TF-1 motorway, typically around 60 to 65 kilometres and 40 to 45 minutes.
By Public Transport: the Tranvía de Tenerife's Line 1 stops at "Fundación," within a few minutes' walk of the museum, making the tram one of the easiest ways to reach MUNA from elsewhere in Santa Cruz or nearby La Laguna. TITSA buses also serve the area extensively, with services connecting from both airports into the Intercambiador (Meridiano) hub in central Santa Cruz, from where it's a short walk or a quick tram or taxi ride to the museum. From Tenerife North Airport, a bus into the centre takes around 15 minutes; from Tenerife South Airport, allow closer to an hour, since it's the longer route.
By Taxi or Rideshare: taxis are readily available at both airports, at the cruise port, and throughout Santa Cruz. A taxi from Tenerife North Airport to MUNA takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes, while one from Tenerife South Airport takes closer to 40 minutes given the distance.
On Foot: because MUNA sits right in the historic centre, it's an easy walk from most central Santa Cruz hotels, the Plaza de España waterfront, and neighbouring cultural venues like TEA, usually within 10 to 15 minutes.
