Good to Know Before Visiting Loro Parque (Loro Park)
It is highly recommended to book your tickets online in advance to avoid long queues at the park entrance during peak hours.
The park is situated in the north of Tenerife, which can be cooler and more humid than the south, so bringing a light jacket is advised.
You should arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes before the first presentation starts to allow enough time for entry and navigation to the stadium.
Seating for the Orca Ocean and Dolphin shows is first-come, first-served, and the front rows are designated "splash zones" where you will likely get wet.
While you are permitted to bring your own food into the park, it must be consumed in the specifically designated picnic areas rather than in the stadiums.
Re-entry to the park is permitted on the same day, provided you have your hand stamped at the exit before leaving the grounds.
If you plan on visiting both Loro Parque and Siam Park, purchasing a Twin Ticket is significantly more cost-effective than buying two separate entries.
Large items of luggage are not permitted inside the park, but you can utilize the secure locker service located near the main gates for a small fee.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the park except in clearly marked, designated outdoor smoking areas.

About Loro Parque
Why Visit Loro Parque?
The World’s Largest Penguin Habitat
Planet Penguin recreates the Antarctic environment with real snow and a massive iceberg. Visitors can observe several species, including King and Gentoo penguins, from a mobile walkway that circles the climate-controlled enclosure.
World-Class Marine Exhibits
The park features a diverse range of marine life, from the Orca Ocean and dolphin presentations to an extensive aquarium. A highlight is the 18-meter shark tunnel, where visitors walk beneath seven different species of sharks and thousands of colorful fish.
Commitment to Conservation and Research
Loro Parque is recognized globally for its work through the Loro Parque Fundación, which has saved several parrot species from extinction. Every ticket purchase contributes to these international efforts to protect biodiversity and restore natural habitats.
Immersive Avian Experiences
As home to the most diverse collection of parrots in the world, the park offers unique viewing opportunities like Katandra Treetops. This walkthrough aviary allows guests to observe tropical birds from hanging bridges at the canopy level of the forest.
Vibrant Biodiversity and Land Mammals
Beyond marine and bird life, the park hosts a wide variety of land animals including Western Lowland Gorillas, Bengal Tigers, and Red Pandas. The enclosures are designed to mirror natural ecosystems, such as the Lion’s Kingdom, which houses a pride of lions in a sprawling savanna-style environment.
